Jump from a helicopter, try the 15 m free-fall and, in autumn, the dark adventures.
Korkee Paloheinä lies in the northern part of Central Park, in the middle of a pine forest. There’s plenty of action here: rope courses for every level, a 15-metre base jump and a helicopter jump for the bravest.
In autumn the forest comes alive as the dark adventures take you onto the courses by headlamp, and the familiar park turns into a whole new experience. The courses suit both children and adults, and there’s a café on site too.
You can get to Paloheinä by buses 66 and 560; if you come by car, parking is at the Paloheinä outdoor lodge (paid).

The courses are closed for the winter, and the season starts again in May. Next season’s tickets become bookable in spring.
Is it right for my child?
- Adventure courses
- Over 120 cm. Under-10s need an adult with them on the course. Recommended height for the most difficult courses: 150 cm.
- Children’s courses
- For children 90–140 cm tall.
- Safety
- You’re clipped to the safety line the whole time. Staff show you the ropes on the practice course at the start and are on site.
- What to bring
- Gloves for the adventure courses (€4 or your own), sturdy shoes and clothes for the weather.
